To the clients  of Epika Salon;

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we will implement the following strict guidelines in order to protect
the safety of clients and staff.

 

Administrative Controls

1. Reduced staff schedule to limit the amount of people at the salon at any time
(The new schedule will be reflected on our online booking systems for the convenience of our clients)
2.No walk-ins or extra guests
3.Persons not being serviced in the salon must wait outside the salon in their car until the stylist is ready
to see them, we will call them or text them when we are ready.
4.We will only accept electronic transaction payments (Clients are encourage to use Google Pay or Apple
Pay) we won't accept cash until further notice.
5.Spacing between persons in the salon should be at least six feet, except when staff are servicing
clients.

 

 

Personal Protective Gear
1.Salon staff will wear face masks and gloves when servicing clients.
2.Clients are required to wear masks at all times
(Mask may be held in place close to the clients face when the stylists are blow drying the hair)
(A towel over the clients mouth and nose can be used when shampooing client's hair)
3.We will provide masks to clients that don't have one.
4.Clients must wash hands upon arrival.
5.Each client would be draped with a clean cape.

 

Disinfection

1.Disinfectant for immersion of tools, must be mixed daily and replaced sooner if it becomes
contaminated throughout the work day.
2. All linens, towels drapes, etc will be washed with hot water and detergent soap.
3.Retail and reception areas should be clean constantly(phone, computer, credit card processing
machine. Disinfectant wipes should be available at the reception area all the times.
4.Clients should not touch retail products (clients will be required to ask for help when wanting to
purchase a retail product)
5.Shampoo bowls should be cleaned and disinfected after each client(bowls, hoses, spray nozzles, foist
handles, shampoo chairs and arm rests)Wipe down all back-bar products and shelves.
6.Restrooms should be cleaned and disinfected a couple of times per day, clean and disinfect ALL
restroom surfaces including floors, sinks and toilet bowls. Antibacterial hand soap should be available all
the time.
7.Work stations should be clean and disinfect Clean and disinfect chairs, head rest, arm rests. Clean and
disinfect all reusable tools and store in an airtight closed container. Clean and disinfect all appliances,
sheers, clippers, clipper guards, clippies, rollers, combs, brushes, rolling carts and any other items used
in connection with servicing clients.(This includes all pedicure stations, nail stations and waxing room)
